Vintage Argyll Wedding \\ Lahra & Dan
On the 12th of October I set off on an unexpectedly sunny morning to Cairndow in Argyll. I couldn’t believe the weather, it was like a summer heatwave… in mid October! What luck this lovely couple had for their wedding day! I spent the morning with the bridal party, enjoying the views and getting a few pictures. Lahra, the bride was just so cool and relaxed and wearing a very different dress to the usual white wedding gown. I loved it instantly. Then I set off through the forest to the amazing Ardkinglas Estate House where the ceremony was being held. WOW! It was gorgeous! The ceremony was great and in such a lovely room, then we hung around for drinks and group photos making the most of the location! (Pretty sure I got a tan) We then set off to the reception venue in Ardlui, and again more amazing views! You’ve just got to love Argyll! In the evening I set up my photobooth for the first time and we got some pretty good photos! Hopefully I’ll be able to do more of these soon! I left in the wee hours of the morning after an amazing, chilled out and fun wedding! I wish Lahra & Dan the best of luck for married life! Here is my very detailed account of their day.
If you made it to the end, I salute you! 😉
